At the IIFA Awards 2023, Hrithik Roshan was the target of some playful photographer attention, and he couldn't help but giggle. On Saturday night, Hrithik made his way to the IIFA Awards event, and he looked dashing as ever! The actor, who this year's Vikram Vedha performance earned him the Best Actor IIFA award, was seen smiling for photos with the media as he walked down the green carpet.
The cameraman shouted, “Greek God of Bollywood,” congratulating the actor as the actor took his place and stood for the camera. Nobody, however, was ready for what came next. The moment the photographer shouted the praise, another paparazzi shouted, “Abey chilla mat.” Both Hrithik and the paparazzi were in stitches as a result of this.
At the ceremony, Hrithik won the Best Actor award for Vikram Vedha. “Vedha helped unleash a certain madness inside me that I didn't know existed,” Hrithik stated while receiving the prize. So I'd want to thank the cosmos and Vedha for giving me the courage to embrace my lunacy as well as the knowledge of it.
Alia Bhatt won Best Actress for Gangubai Kathiawadi while Hrithik got Best Actor. She was sadly unable to attend the ceremony. According to reports, the actress's grandpa has been admitted to the hospital and is in a “critical” state.
The Best Picture award went to Ajay Devgn's mystery movie Drishyam 2. Four more honors went to Gangubai Kathiawadi. These include Best Cinematography and Best Debut Male, both of which went to Shantanu Maheshwari for the film Qala. The musical categories were won by Brahmastra, with Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal winning Best Male and Female Singer, respectively, as well as Pritam winning Best Music Director.
